Why Choose Us

Welcome to EduHub Admission Services Shillong, your gateway to pursuing a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme in partnership with various teacher training institutes in West Bengal. Our tie-ups with these institutes are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Department of Teacher Education, WBUTTEPA (David Hare Campus), ensuring that you receive quality education and a recognised degree upon completion.

One of the main advantages of studying with us is that the fees for the entire B.Ed. course start at just INR 1,00,000, which is at least 50% less than what most colleges across India charge. We also follow a reservation policy, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible since seats are limited.

It's worth noting that most students can complete the course without attending regular classes. However, appearing for examinations at the college location in West Bengal is mandatory. Our medium of instruction is Bengali/English, and you can write all the General and Pedagogy of School Subject (Method) paper answer scripts in Hindi, where necessary.

The B.Ed. programme lasts for two academic sessions and can be completed in a maximum of three years from the date of admission. Additionally, 5% of the seats for self-financed colleges and 5% of the seats for the Department of Teacher Education, WBUTTEPA (David Hare Campus), are reserved for deputed teachers of classes VI-XII. Deputed teachers refer to those serving in substantive posts.

To be eligible for admission, you must be a graduate in a school subject from a recognised university. Candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree (Honours/General) or in the Master's Degree in school subjects are eligible to apply. If you have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Science and/or Mathematics, with 55% marks, or any other equivalent qualification, you can also apply. Honours graduates in school subjects should enter the Honours marks only in the row of Bachelor's degree (Honours). In case of General Graduates, the total marks obtained should be entered in the row of Bachelor's degree (General).

For candidates with less than 50% marks in the honours degree, the total marks of pass and Honours subjects will be considered. If it becomes 50% or more, that score will be entered in Graduation (General) row. For fresh candidates, a merit list will be prepared separately for each school subject based on scoring. For deputed candidates, a merit list will be prepared separately for each school subject based on length of service.

We also follow reservation rules for EWS/SC/ST/OBC(A/B)/PWD (Minimum disability 40%) candidates as per the government rules. The reservation stated above is not applicable for self-financed colleges. Additionally, we offer a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in graduation or postgraduation for SC/ST/PWD (Minimum disability 40%) candidates. In such cases, a minimum of 45% marks will be required instead of 50% marks.
